Who we are
multimedia-soft.com is the public face of Video Processor AI, a rendering platform built and operated by FABTECH SOFTWARE INC. out of Albany, New York. We are a small, deliberately senior team of video engineers, ML practitioners, and post-production veterans who got tired of the choice between desktop tools that pin one CPU core and enterprise suites that quote a six-figure contract. We built the service we wanted to use ourselves: fast, honest about its limits, priced for working creators, and accessible from a browser tab.
How we work
Our north star is simple — a freelance editor in Lagos and a broadcast operator in Osaka should get the same pixels, the same queue priority, and the same privacy guarantees. We publish model change notes when weights are updated, we do not train on customer footage, and we keep job retention measured in hours rather than months. When we get something wrong, the support desk replies in the same tone you would use talking to a colleague across the table. That is the contract we want to keep renewing with every render.
What we build
1. Smart Compression
Variable-bitrate analysis pass looks at each frame before encoding, concentrating bits where the eye actually spends time. Master deliverables shrink by up to 80% without the telltale blockiness of a one-pass encode, and the pipeline handles HDR metadata correctly so grading survives the round trip.
2. Format Conversion
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, FLV, MXF, ProRes, DNxHD, H.264, H.265, AV1 — the full matrix is a single dropdown. Batch jobs run in parallel on dedicated GPUs, so a folder of dailies finishes before you make coffee instead of before you go to lunch.
